Debbie is the organisation's Founder and director and has vast experience acquired throughout the years. Her vision of a highly specialist school has become a successful reality and she continues to pioneer new methods and ideas that will help young people reach their full potential. |

Christine Benjamin
Senior Administrations Officer
Chris is the school's Senior Administrations Officer and has worked at The Yellow House since it's first year of opening. She is based at our main office on our Sible site and oversees of all the many and varied things necessary for the smooth running of our school on both sites. Kim Heather
Administrations officer
Kim works in the office at our Clare site. She is responsible for all day to day administration at Clare and has particular responsibility for the organisation and administration of the annual review process for all our pupils on both sites. To contact our Clare office please phone 01787 279139

Wendy Jeffs

Wendy is the senior teacher and curriculum manager at The Yellow House.
She has had years of experience teaching in mainstream secondary schools and special needs support units.
Wendy is our senior SENCO and leads our annual review meetings. |

Peter joined The Yellow House team in 2010 after teaching Art and Design in mainstream schools, combined with working with pupils with special needs. Prior to this he worked for several years in the rough and wild places across Scotland and Wales as a freelance kayak coach.
Peter oversees the English curriculum and teaches English and Art and design to GCSE level at The Yellow House. In addition Peter is an Art GCSE examination moderator for schools in Cambridgeshire.

Samantha Greig

Examinations Officer
Sam has extensive experience working in mainstream schools supporting pupils with special needs.She joined The Yellow House team in 2004.
Sam has been responsible for teaching and moderating ASDAN at The Yellow House with great success for many years.
Sam is also the school's examinations officer and oversees and administrates the examinations and accreditations across all subjects taught and at all levels of ability in The Yellow House. |

Leigh is our child protection officer and oversees the ICT curriculum. He has experience working with young people with special needs in both residential and day provision. |

Ross Thompson
PGC in Therapeutic Communication with Children
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy - Level 4 cert.
Ross has much varied experience working with young people with complex special needs including working residential special school. He teaches most subjects, and leads the studies in mathematics as well as baseline assessment for new students. |

Jonny has many years experience working with young people in residential care. Jonny teaches mathematics and assists in overseeing science. |

Belles oversees Art & Design at The Yellow House, which has always been a successful examination with our pupils. Belles also uses art in a therapeutic approach to working with individuals and has foundation training in Art Therapy.
She is currently studying for a B.A in "Therapeutic Communication & Therapeutic Organizations" at University of Essex. Belles spent her summer holidays working for an NGO in Cambodia working with socially and economically deprived children.

Geraldine Brooks

Cert. in Counselling Skills
Geraldine has a nursing background and is a trained counsellor. After many years experience as a Learning Support Assistant Geraldine joined The Yellow House team. She oversees Lifeskills work at The Yellow House but also teaches a variety of subjects and is particularly involved in working with our female pupils . |

Jo co-manages careers and cooking. She has a Certificate in Occupational Testing from the Psychological Court in London and has experience in personnel & development. |

Mike Jones
BA hons - Performing Arts
BSL level2 (British Sign Language)
Mike is the newest member of The Yellow House Team but comes with a wealth of experience.
As a trained actor Mike has had a successful career since 1998, both on the stage and in television and his skills are particularly useful when teaching performance arts to our pupils.
Mike has had many years experience of teaching pupils with special needs in both mainstream setting and in special schools. Mike teaches English and performance arts at The Yellow House. He has also just published his first childrens novel "The Infinate River" |
