The Yellow House, Sible Hedingham is our head office and was the first site to open. The history of the town dates back to at least the Bronze Age with artifacts being discovered in 1929 near Tower House. Pottery discovered show that it was occupied by the Romans and it is rumored that a Roman Temple and villa are just waiting to be discovered! Despite modern development much of the early period remains with cottages and large houses and a 14th century church. The magnificent Hedingham Castle is nearby and our students visit and walk the same stone steps & floors as the aristocrats & royalty of yesteryear.
The Yellow House is well placed to take full advantage of the spectacular ancient & serene Essex countryside which includes windmills and watermills, eight maltings and a tannery in Alderford Street.
Just a few minutes walk from The Yellow House there are a variety of shops.
